As practical sailors with more than 100,000 sea miles, racing and cruising, RYA Ocean Yachtmaster, an Associate Membership of the Royal Institution of Naval Architects (RINA), the The International Institute of Marine Surveying and also of the Yacht Designers and Surveyors Association (YDSA) they have conducted around 1000 yacht surveys on 4 continents.

As a regular contributor to the UK’s leading sailing magazine, Yachting Monthly, Paul also advises a large proportion of the nations boat buyers through his regular series on Yacht Surveys.

He has also written a regular column on Ocean racing in Yachting Life magazine for over ten years and is a former winner of the Royal Ocean Racing Club’s coveted Seamanship Trophy.
